Answer a few questions about the move and we will give you the figure on screen. No callback, no haggling, and nothing to pay to find out.

Step 1

First, who’s moving?

So we can send you the figure and hold it for you. Nothing to pay to find out.

What do you need moved?

Each service is priced differently, so this decides what we ask you next.

Where is it going?

We price off the real road distance, including getting the truck out to you and home again. Start typing and pick from the list.

Which run is your move?

Pick the trip, not the destination — these are the runs we do, and they work in either direction. The Queensland end can be the Gold Coast, Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast. Moving between two other states is not one of ours.

What is coming with you?

Interstate is priced on the space your goods take up, so this is the question that sets your price. This is the one part of the form worth taking your time over — work through room by room, and the total updates as you go. Close enough is fine; we confirm it with you before anything is booked.

Your load so far 0

What are we taking away?

The tip charges by weight and by type. Green waste is a third the price of general rubbish, and we pass that straight on.

Roughly how much is there?

Pick the closest. If it turns out smaller on the day you pay the smaller tier — the tip docket decides, not us.

How much is coming?

One price for the job, carried inside to the room you want it in.

Any stairs at either end?

There is no stairs surcharge — we just need to know so the quote covers them and we send the right gear.

What kind of place are you moving out of?

The best single guide to how much is coming with you.

How many bedrooms?

Count every room that has a bed in it.

How full is it?

Two homes the same size can be very different jobs. Be honest here and the price will hold.

Getting things out

Stairs and lifts are the single biggest thing that changes how long a move takes. There is no stairs surcharge — we just need to know so the quote covers them.

Anything about the street? Tick all that apply

And getting them in at the other end

Same questions for the new place. If you have not seen it yet, give us your best guess and we will confirm on the call before moving day.

Anything extra?

Pianos, marble and pool tables aren’t part of a standard move — they take extra crew and time to prepare — but you can add them here. A tip run on the way is priced by what’s going to the tip.

Services

What we move.

Every job gets the same care and attention, whether it is a four-bedroom house going interstate or a single chair off Marketplace.

01

Home Removals

Units through to family homes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. One fixed price for the whole job, and the crew and truck the job actually needs.

02

Interstate Moves

South East QLD to Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide, and back the other way. Your goods stay on our truck with our team from the moment we load to the moment we unload — no depot transfers, no handing your things to a stranger.

03

Single Items & Marketplace Pickups

You bought a lounge on Marketplace, or a bed from a retail store that wants $300 to deliver it. One item or a few, picked up and carried inside to the room you want it in. From $159 including GST.

04

Tip Runs & Clean-Outs

Green waste, whitegoods, furniture and general household clean-outs. Add one to a move and we take the unwanted things away on the same trip, or book it on its own.

Our Pricing

A fixed price
in 60 seconds.

Pick what you need moved, answer a few questions, and your price appears on screen. That figure is the one on the invoice, and it does not change once we start work.

Every price on this page includes

GST

The figure you see is the figure you pay. No adding ten per cent at the end.

Two movers and a truck

For the whole job, however long it takes. On smaller jobs you can choose to help load and pay less.

Travel

There is no call-out fee and no depot-to-depot charge.

Stairs, lifts and long carries

Included, because a surcharge just means arguing about it on the day.

Insurance

Public liability and goods in transit cover, including while we load and unload — not only while the truck is moving.

Local moves

A four-bedroom house down to a single Marketplace pickup, quoted as one fixed figure for the job. The form takes about a minute and there is nothing to pay to find out the number.

Interstate

Priced on the space your goods take up rather than what they weigh, worked out with you from a room-by-room list before anything is confirmed. A deposit holds the date and the balance is paid on delivery.

Tip runs & clean-outs

Tip fees are set by the council and charged by weight. We pass on exactly what the weighbridge charges us, with the docket. Green waste is cheaper to dispose of and you get that saving, not us.

The figure the form gives you comes from the same calculator we price jobs with in the office — it is not a teaser number that gets revised after a phone call.

The Promise

Nothing else
moves the price.

Your price is locked to four things you tell us when you book. Get those right and the figure holds — no long-carry fee, no staircase fee, and nothing extra if the day simply takes us longer than we thought.

Clear Access And Parking

We price the job assuming the truck can get in and park close to the door. If parking is tight, permit-only or a no-stopping zone, a council permit may be needed — tell us early and we will sort it out with you well before the day.

The Lift

If you have told us there is a lift, we plan the job around it. A lift that turns out to be booked by someone else, or out of service, turns a two-hour job into a five-hour one.

The Stairs

There is no stairs surcharge. We ask how many flights at each end so the price we quote already covers them, and so we bring the right people and the right gear. What we quote is what you pay, stairs and all.

What’s Coming With You

The list you give us is what we price. A shed nobody mentioned or a garage full of boxes changes the day. Photos are the easiest way to get this right, and they cost you two minutes.

We call before the day to walk through all four, so anything that has changed turns up in a phone call, not on moving day. If one of them does turn out differently, we agree the new figure with you in writing before we lift anything.

How It Works

From here to
moving day.

01

Tell Us About The Move

Where you are moving from and to, roughly what is coming, and when. The form below takes about 60 seconds.

02

We Confirm The Price

One figure for the whole job, in writing, before you commit to anything. For interstate it is priced on the volume and the route.

03

We Call Before The Day

A quick call to walk through parking, lift access and anything that has changed. If we can see a problem coming, we would both much rather find it now than on your driveway with a truck idling.

04

Move Day

A live tracking link so you can see us coming, and nothing to settle on the day — the move was paid for when you booked it. Interstate pays the balance on delivery.

Questions

The things
people ask.

Do you charge for stairs?

Not as a surcharge. Stairs make a move take longer, so we ask about them up front and build that into the one figure we quote you. What it means in practice: nobody turns up, finds a staircase, and revises the price at the door.

Is it really a fixed price?

Yes. We quote one figure for the whole job and that is what you pay. There is no hourly rate running in the background, so nobody needs to watch the clock — least of all you.

When do I pay?

When you book. Once your price is on screen you pick a date and pay by card, and that is what locks the date in — there is nothing to pay to see the figure, and nothing more to pay on the day. Interstate moves take a 50% deposit when you book, with the balance paid on delivery. If you would rather not pay online, send the booking through and we will take payment over the phone.

What if the job takes longer than you thought?

Then it takes longer, and you pay what we quoted. That one is ours to carry, and it is exactly why we ask a few specific questions about access and what is coming before we give you a number.

Is my stuff insured?

Yes. We carry public liability and goods-in-transit cover, and the goods-in-transit policy covers your things while we load and unload, not only while the truck is moving. If you are moving something unusually valuable, tell us when you book so we can talk it through properly.

Can you take things to the tip on the way?

Yes — a tip run is its own option on the form. Pick “A tip run”, tell us what it is and how much, and the price you see includes the tip fee. If you want it done as part of a move, mention it in the notes when you book and we will price the two together as one figure.

Why do you ask for photos?

They are optional, but they are the single best way to make sure the price we quote is the price that holds. Two minutes of photos beats ten minutes of describing a garage.

What about interstate timing?

Interstate runs on a delivery window rather than a fixed date, because a single closed road changes everything. We tell you the window before you commit.

Fuel

One surcharge,
explained.

Our interstate rates are set against diesel at $2.00 per litre. When diesel is above that, a fuel levy is added for the fuel the loaded leg burns — nothing more.

Worked example — South East QLD to Sydney

Distance, loaded leg902 km
Diesel the truck burns25 L / 100 km
Fuel for that leg226 L
Diesel this week, less the $2.00 baseline$2.55 − $2.00 = 55c
Levy on this move$124

It is arithmetic, not a percentage

Litres for the loaded leg, multiplied by however far the diesel price sits above $2.00. A bigger load does not pay a bigger levy, because a bigger load does not burn more fuel.

Set at the time of the move

Interstate moves get booked months ahead and nobody knows what diesel will cost by then. Your quote shows the levy at this week’s price; the final figure uses the price in the week we actually move you.

Indexed to a published figure

We use the national average diesel price published weekly by the Australian Institute of Petroleum. It is a number you can look up yourself.
